Sam taught me to juggle when I worked at 'Playspace' in Bradford. He was on the management committee. He was always really welcoming to people attending the community circus workshops at Manningham sports centre. Sam taught me more than how to juggle, he taught me about community Circus. Years later I am still teaching Circus workshops to children.

I found a short poem I wrote, for his birthday. Have tidied it up a bit...

Sam, Sam the Juggling man

Drives around in a little blue van

Passing clubs a speciality

What a juggling personality

Manipulating balls, fire clubs and plates

A juggling genius - no mistakes

'One over the tops' and 'looping the loop'

He wows us with his rings and hoops

We believe that even the expressions on his face

Are lurking in the depths of 'Sam's suitcase'

There is nothing he cant do we're told

Happy Birthday Sam - 30 years old
