Since Dad’s death I’ve started listening to Bob Dylan more and more and now love his music, or at least most of it. He’s a genius. It’s a shame me and Dad never got to bond over our love for Dylan but I’m happy to be continuing Dad’s legacy in a musical sense. And since discovering the song A Hard Rains A-Gonna Fall, I’ve been thinking it would’ve been suitable as a song for the funeral or to represent Dad. I might be misinterpreting it, but it’s still a great song :) here’s a small section from the last section of it that always makes me tear up a little bit. Oh, what'll you do now, my blue-eyed son? Oh, what'll you do now, my darling young one? I'm a-goin' back out 'fore the rain starts a-fallin' I'll walk to the depths of the deepest black forest Where the people are many and their hands are all empty Chester x
